Three Tree North - February 2nd, 2007 - Night Dive

Well, this dive is a story of the good, the bad, and the ugly.  The good:  We saw a pacific spiny lumpsucker!  Woohoo!  Our first time seeing this fish...a rarity in Puget Sound.  Thanks to my dive buddy Tim for making the spot and flagging me over to take a look.  And the bad and ugly:  My camera flooded!  Ouch!  But...the camera wasn't too damaged...  This was a fantastic dive, though, as we finally found the boat down to the south.  It had a huge mass of ling cod eggs on it.  Very cool stuff!  And there was a big ling there, along with a good size male kelp greenling.  This was just a great dive.  The last picture shows water drops inside my camera housing.  Not good.  And...there's a video of the lumpsucker swimming.  It's pretty big, but interesting also.  Oh yeah...I also got pictures of an Oregon Triton.
