Point Lobos State Reserve, California - July 8, 2006

When Tim and I started investigating our California dive trip, this is the spot that came up over and over again.  "If you're going to dive the Monterey area, get in the water at Point Lobos."  So we did, and we were NOT disappointed.  We did two dives.  The first dive involved a looong surface swim to find our way out to Cannery Point Wall.  The second dive, after some technical difficulties solved by Tim getting me a new set of fins from the truck, didn't go out quite as far, but involved floating through the kelp, exploring along the bottom.
